Make no mistake. I love hunting the blacktail deer. Always have. I grew up hunting blacktail, dreaming of big, heavy antlered bucks ghosting through the fog. In high school, instead of focusing on school work, I agonized about big bucks that had given me the slip. I obsessed over someday finally tagging a true wall-hanger.At the magazine rack, I would scour every hunting magazine looking for a tidbit on blacktail. Features on my beloved deer species were few and far between. Back then I rented VHS hunting tapes and ran into the same problem. I vowed then, I was going to do all I could to share my passion for the blacktail deer, an animal I respected like no other. With that I am proud to present a video release by the same name of my book, Bowhunting Trophy Blacktail The Video.
